Where Art Meets the Wave - Cornwall Hospice Project 2025
Share

Following on from the Around Cornwall in 38 Churns project which raised an astonishing £50,000 in 2022 for Cornwall Hospice Care, volunteer fundraiser Sue Dennett is championing a new artistic project for 2024/2025 called "Where Art Meets the Wave."

My signature ‘Beachscape’ style can be seen on this beautiful board created by Surf Classic®, with the pops of surfboard colour jumping out from the beautiful gradient colours of the sea through to the beach.
The whole collection of art will be available to view during during July, August and most of September. In parallel to the exhibitions, similar to the milk churns, these boards will be available to bid to purchase via an online auction organised by Lay’s Auctioneers of Penzance. Bidding will open in Spring 2025, closing in a final exhibition in September.

Newquay Garden Centre started as a market garden in 1948 and is still a local family run business. They have kindly agreed to host the largest collection of Where Art Meets The Wave artworks!
