As daylight fades, the ice cream kiosk glows softly against the deepening blue of the evening. The crowds have drifted away, there’s something quietly magical about the hum of the lights, the calm after a long summer day, and that simple, familiar question: one scoop or two? A small choice that somehow holds the memory of summer itself.
Some of you may recognise this as Torquay, with the colourful fairy lights which run around the bay and the cliffs which surround the harbour itself.
